Questions, answered straight
Everything a reasonable person asks before paying to throw produce at a stranger.
- Do I actually throw tomatoes?
- Yes. One per ticket, real, ripe, supplied by us — and more for sale at the show. Aim is your problem.
- Can I bring my own?
- No. Outside produce is not permitted. We know what ours are, where they came from and how soft they are; we don't know that about yours.
- Who's on stage?
- A lineup that changes every show, and Jas. They know what they signed up for.
- What should I wear?
- Something you don't love. Rows near the front are inside the splash zone. If you'd rather stay dry, say so at the door and you'll be seated out of range.
- How old do I have to be?
- No age limit for the show. The bar belongs to the venue and cards for alcohol like any bar.
- How much, and what's the catch?
- The price on the page is the price before tax. No booking fee, no service fee, nothing hidden at the last screen. Sales tax is calculated at checkout and itemised on your receipt. That's it.
- What's the game?
- A moving cutout of Jas, on the front page, before you buy. Flick to throw — drag and let go — and keep throwing for as long as you keep landing them: the first miss ends the run. Land twelve in a row and one seat is 25% off — a limited number per show; we email you the code and it's applied at checkout. The score is checked by our server, not your phone.
- Can I get a refund?
- Up to 48 hours before doors, in full, no reason needed, no fee kept. Reply to your confirmation email with the order number. Inside 48 hours the seat can't be resold, so it's yours — but you can give the ticket to someone else; the door checks the code, not the name.
- How do I get in?
- Your confirmation email has a QR code and a six-character code for each seat. Show either one at the door, or give the name on the order. Doors open 30 minutes before the show.
- What language is the show in?
- English. Heckle in whichever language you like. The website is in French and English on equal terms.
- Can I request my city?
- Yes — the schedule has a row for it. Tomatic Show pops up where people ask, and every ask helps us gauge where to go next. You'll hear from us only if we book your city, and only about that.
- I'm a comic. How do I get on?
- Send a link to a tape — not a file — from the Comics page. Jas watches every tape himself. Spots are few and vary from show to show.
